David has over 20 years of experience advising clients on domestic and international infrastructure and energy projects. Clients value his responsiveness and attention to detail.

A big focus of David's practice is project finance, including the UK's Private Finance Initiative and Public Private Partnerships, advising clients from the infrastructure, oil & gas, conventional and renewable energy sectors.

He advises clients on all sides of the procurement process including contracting authorities, sponsors, financial institutions, construction contractors and service providers. David advises on risk allocation, the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts, professional appointments, supply agreements, long term maintenance agreements and a variety of related documentation (including bonds, guarantees, direct agreements and warranties).

David also has experience with transport, healthcare, education, and central & local government projects.

Restructure of interest at the former Astra Zeneca HQ, Loughborough and also advising on the refurbishment and enhancement of the facilities, and the letting space to the sector with a view to creating their own 70 acre science park. Recently completed lettings on behalf of Charnwood to Almac Pharmaceuticals Limited (108,563 square foot) and 3M (United Kingdom) PLC (61,642 square foot).

Advised global investor EQT on a £1bn residential real estate joint venture, set to bring 3000 new rental homes to Greater London. The billion-sterling investment portfolio is being launched with residential property developer Sigma Capital. It is the first UK investment for EQT Real Estate, a division of global investor EQT Partners.
