Our team
In the last 12 months, our M&A team advised on 1,000+ M&A transactions and fundraises, the majority being cross-border, making the practice one of the most active of any law firm in the jurisdictions in which we operate.
At the heart of our Corporate practice is an outstanding cross-border M&A team. We regularly manage deals over multiple jurisdictions and provide clients with a seamless, efficient and commercial service – both on bilateral and auction processes. We've acted on buy-side and sell-side deals of all shapes and sizes, and for strategic acquirers as well as financial sponsors. We are well-known as seasoned professionals who people on all sides can do business with. We know "what's market" and can flex our style to reflect the differing dynamics that transactions give rise to.
We work on public and private transactions (including acquisitions, disposals and restructurings) and provide deal support across our network of offices in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, including our two representative offices in the US. That means that we have M&A coverage in all our 28 offices, including for US acquirers looking to invest in UK and Europe.
Our international M&A capability has recently been bolstered by our strategic alliance with the leading Iberian firm ECIJA. Together with ECIJA we are now able to offer clients a service that includes Spain, Portugal and Latin America.
