Based in our Dublin office, Libby advises Irish and international banks and financial institutions (including insurance and reinsurance companies), alternative lenders and corporate borrowers in relation to all kinds of debt matters including but not limited to domestic and international bilateral and syndicated corporate facilities, REF investment and development facilities, leveraged acquisition financings, consensual workouts and loan portfolio sales and investments. Libby also advises financial institutions on Irish banking and payments regulatory matters and on setting up operations in Ireland.

Purchase of a portfolio of performing lifetime loans

Advising an international financial institution with respect to its purchase of a performing loan book of lifetime loans. Libby also advised the client in relation to the funding of the purchase which was structured by means of an Irish law forward flow securitization arrangement.
