Meet our Wellbeing Network
The network raises awareness of disabilities, reduces stigma around mental health and promotes wellness in the firm. Their focus is on health prevention, along with improving everyone’s wellbeing.
Whether it’s focusing on ability, not disability, or providing mental health support; preventing health problems and improving wellbeing is vital to our inclusive culture. Alongside this, we provide a generous package of employee benefits that are focused on supporting health, wellbeing and fulfilment.
Our Wellbeing Network works to raise awareness of disabilities – both visible and invisible – across the firm, ensuring we create an accessible, safe and user-friendly environment for all. We’re also members of the My Plus Students' Club, which provides specialist advice to students who have a disability or long-term health condition.
To support our people in dealing with mental health conditions, we’ve trained over 20 Mental Health First Aiders and even more Mental Health Champions across our UK offices. Each individual is trained to support colleagues day-to-day and in crisis situations, guiding them to the range of professional support available.
We've established an award-winning free in-house private GP service which operates three times a week in our fully equipped surgery. Our GPs also provide health assessments, flu vaccinations and a travel clinic. We also provide access to GP appointments through technology.
As a firm, we are committed to ensuring the safety of our people and have a zero-tolerance approach to abusive behaviours, including domestic abuse. We have a policy which sets out a bold plan of support, training and practical measures, including paid time away from work for anyone experiencing abuse.
This is one of a number of policy additions, led by our strategy to create an inclusive workplace and support the welfare of our people.
The network raises awareness of disabilities, reduces stigma around mental health and promotes wellness in the firm. Their focus is on health prevention, along with improving everyone’s wellbeing.
I'm delighted to be a part of the wellbeing programme which is a subject close to my heart. Taylor Wessing is a close knit firm, and as well as celebrating our achievements and successes, we must also feel empowered to share and help each other during those times of vulnerability and struggle that we all experience, and become more united and healthier as a result.
We're actively building a balanced business where there's a level playing field for everyone, regardless of gender.
As one of Stonewall's Diversity Champions, we're proud of our reputation as an inclusive LGBT+ workplace.
Your potential, ability and talent - not your socio-economic background or schooling - determines your success here.
