Kate is a Senior Associate in the Banking & Finance team. Specialising in leveraged and acquisition finance, Kate has a broad practice which encompasses general corporate finance, receivables and asset based lending, venture debt, litigation funding and equity margining, as well as distressed debt and restructuring. Kate regularly advises sponsor backed borrowers, corporate groups and financial institutions on a range of domestic and cross-border transactions.

SpectraLegal on its complex GBP100m loan facility agreement

SpectraLegal, the Canadian-backed, UK litigation funder, on a complex and bespoke GBP100m loan facility agreement (with an additional £100m accordion facility) secured predominantly against Spectra's receivables. We also acted on the transfer of loan portfolios within the group and the cancellation and redemption of its two existing senior facilities with a UK bank and U.S. fund respectively.
