Starting with 1st of January 2025, the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) will be in full force: From that date forward, the EUDR will impose significant new compliance and resilience challenges to businesses and their global supply chains, as suppliers who are unable to meet the regulation's new due diligence obligations, may be prohibited from placing their products on the EU market. The EUDR's impact is still underestimated by many businesses and many struggle to fully understand its scope and requirements.
