Taylor Wessing teams in Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany and Spain advise Grant Thornton on its expansion

Our international Corporate team in Ireland, France, Belgium and Germany have advised Grant Thornton Advisors LLC (Grant Thornton Advisors) on the additions of Grant Thornton France and Belgium to its multinational platform. The firm has also advised on the addition of Grant Thornton Spain, in collaboration with Spanish law firm ECIJA.

Grant Thornton Advisors is supported by an investor group led by New Mountain Capital. With these transactions, the Grant Thornton Advisors platform will add nearly 4,000 professionals and extend client service capabilities to 35 new locations throughout Europe.

To date, eleven Grant Thornton member firms have banded together under a unified platform, including Grant Thornton United Arab Emirates (a transaction on which we also advised). Our Munich-based Corporate team also advised Grant Thornton Advisors LLC on the bidding process for Grant Thornton Deutschland. 

The cross-border team was led by Partners Paddy Quinlan and Adam Griffiths in Ireland, Gilles Amsallem and François Mary in France, Toon Rummens in Belgium, Dr Christian Traichel in Germany and Emilio Prieto in Spain.
