Taylor Wessing advised Predictice shareholders on its acquisition by Doctrine, a leading provider of legal artificial intelligence solutions in Europe. This transaction is part of Doctrine's strategy to strengthen its position in the European market for AI-driven legal solutions.
Predictice, co-founded by Thomas Baduel, Louis Larret-Chahine and Alexandre Chéronnet, develops AI-powered legal software and databases for legal professionals. With the arrival of the Predictice teams, Doctrine now has 230 employees.
This acquisition is part of Doctrine's external growth strategy and reinforces Doctrine's position as the European leader in legal AI. Following on from previous external growth operations (Legaltile and Jobexit in 2023, then Dejure in 2025), this acquisition enables the group to consolidate its customer base, which now includes nearly 25,000 legal professionals in four countries (France, Italy, Germany, and Luxembourg).
The solutions developed by Predictice will be gradually integrated into the Doctrine platform to enhance its offering for lawyers and legal departments.
