Reuben Brothers has appointed Auberge Resorts Collection to manage the renewal of Cambridge House, the former In and Out Military Club in Mayfair as a luxury hotel and members club.
Set to open in late 2025, the five-star luxury hotel Cambridge House aims to channel the opulence of the Georgian era in its design and will include a private members club. It is part of Reuben Brothers' £1 billion regeneration of 1.3 acres of the Piccadilly Estate, including the super-prime residential development of One Carrington and the cobblestone streets of Shepherd Market. This will also be Auberge Resorts Collection's first UK property.
Taylor Wessing advised Reuben Brothers on the agreements with Auberge Resorts Collection, and the deal was led by partner Edward Story and senior associate Jack Wain.
Commenting on the transaction, Edward Story said: "We are delighted to be supporting Reuben Brothers on yet another exciting project, this time partnering with Auberge Resorts Collection for a reimagined Cambridge House in London. We look forward to seeing the development of the project."
Nikola Reid of RB Capital comments: "It is incredibly special for us to be a part of Cambridge House's next chapter, given its unique history and deep legacy in Mayfair. We were delighted with the responsive and commercially-minded support from Ed and Jack from the Taylor Wessing team on this iconic project."
