We announce our UK senior promotions for 2019

Today we announce eleven senior promotions in the UK, with five lawyers appointed to our partnership and six to the position of senior counsel. All promotions will take effect from 1 May 2019.

Commenting on the promotions, Managing Partner, Shane Gleghorn, said:

The new partners are:

Alexander Erskine, Private client

Alexander joined the firm in 2011 and specialises in cross-border tax and succession planning for international clients, with an increasing focus on tax compliance and confidentiality concerns. Alexander also has particular expertise in UK tax compliance, helping both individuals and professional trustees discharge their obligations and manage their risk in relation to complex positions.

Lauren Fendick, Real Estate

Lauren Fendick joined the firm in 2011. She deals with all aspects of commercial real estate work, including acquisitions and disposals, property development and landlord and tenant matters.

Amy Patterson, Restructuring and Insolvency

Amy Patterson joined the firm as a trainee in 2007. Amy acts on both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters as well as corporate restructurings. She advises distressed debt investors, lenders, corporates, landlords, directors and insolvency practitioners in respect of all areas of domestic and cross border insolvency and restructuring law.

Adam Rendle, IP and Media

Adam Rendle is a copyright, media and brands specialist who joined the firm in 2007. He provides a wide range of support for his clients, including complex, strategic advisory work, litigation and disputes, content and advertising deals and corporate transactions. He focuses on the media and tech industries, advising major clients across music, publishing, broadcasting, advertising and digital services.

Alexandra Richardson, Corporate Technology

Alexandra joined Taylor Wessing in 2011 and specialises in advising investors, companies and management teams on a wide variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity funding transactions and restructurings, particularly in the technology, media and communications and life sciences sectors. Much of Alexandra's work is cross border in nature, and she works regularly with parties across Europe, Asia and the US.
