Taylor Wessing has advised Portuguese genetics and cultivation company Terra Verde, on its acquisition by EMMAC Life Sciences Ltd (EMMAC), Europe’s leading independent medical cannabis and wellness company.
Terra Verde holds the oldest cannabis cultivation licence in Portugal. The acquisition establishes EMMAC as the largest vertically integrated cannabis company in Europe.
