As a global firm, we know how important it is to understand and respect each other's cultures. Within our UK offices, we have people from over 20 different nationalities, speaking at least 16 different languages.
Our cultural diversity network was set up so that we can learn from each other and celebrate our cultures. It works to encourage more individuals from diverse backgrounds to enter the legal sector and achieve their full potential.

We must ensure concrete actions and progress follow, against which we can measure ourselves and in turn will be measured. That's why we've developed a dedicated race and ethnicity strategy.
We provide a multi-faith room for prayer or quiet contemplation, which is used by colleagues from over six different religious groups.

We have joined the NOTICED network, a collaboration of over 20 law firms across the UK to promote diversity and inclusion in the legal industry. In 2021, NOTICED published the NOTICED toolkit, a practical guide to facilitate allyship and conversations about race and ethnicity in the workplace.
Black Solicitors Network
Proudly supporting the Black Solicitors Network, a primary voice of black solicitors in England and Wales; we're committed to achieving equality of access, retention and promotion of black solicitors.
We are proudly participating in the UK pilot of the Mansfield Rule certification, which looks to increase the diversity of law firm leadership by broadening the pool of candidates considered for these opportunities.
Race Fairness Commitment
It's our wish to support our black and minority group colleagues and friends who are confronting racism and racial injustice. We all must do more to make progress and we continue to come together internally, and with our clients and peers, to drive positive steps in the legal profession and the wider community to defeat racism.
To underline this commitment, we are now signatories to the Race Fairness Commitment.
We are adding our support for better representation of black talent through signing up to 10,000 Black Interns programme. #10000BlackInterns is an initiative to help transform the horizons and prospects of young black students in the United Kingdom.
Talented people come in many shapes and sizes and the best teams are those that are diverse in every respect. I'm a firm believer that if we each take the opportunity to understand other's cultures and heritage, we'll be an even stronger firm.
