Advising Sitetech Building Products on its sale to Grafton

Our recently established Dublin office is advising Sitetech Building Products on its sale to Grafton Group plc, the international building materials distributor and DIY retailer. 

Sitetech Building Products is the market leader in the distribution of specialist construction accessories in Ireland, with bases in Dublin and Cork. Its accessories for concrete and brickwork are supplied to the construction and civil engineering industries, with the goal of improving efficiency across the construction process.

Grafton is acquiring the company due to its expertise in distribution and specialist construction accessories, enabling Grafton to offer a broader range of products and services in a new market segment.

Corporate partner Adam Griffiths led on the deal. He said: "We opened the Taylor Wessing office in Ireland in September 2021 and advising Sitetech Building Products on this deal closed out a very successful year.

Completion of the sale is subject to approval by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission in Ireland.
