COSI, the new venture of Christian Gaiser and his co-founders Dimitri Chandogin and Gerhard Maringer, has secured five million euros in a financing round. The International law firm Taylor Wessing advised COSI on all legal issues related to the financing round. The financing round was led by Cherry Ventures and e.ventures, and joined by business angels such as HomeToGo founder Nils Regge, Gleb Tritus, Andreas Brehmke and Manuel Stotz.
With the capital from the financing round, the company intends to establish a new type of overnight accommodation in the commercial environment, so-called Short-term rentals, i.e. renting of furnished apartments for short periods. Short-term rentals are considered as a future alternative to a holiday home on the one hand and hotel bookings on the other hand.
Christian Gaiser is a serial entrepreneur and investor who founded the Bonial.com Group, which he also led as Group CEO for more than nine years. Dimitri Chandogin is a senior private equity investor and business angel with many years of experience in TMT, Industrials and Tech. Gerhard Maringer is founder and CTO at Forexfix.
