Dr. Christian Traichel

Christian heads up the German and co-leads the international Corporate/M&A group of Taylor Wessing and focuses his practice on corporate transactions and corporate law. He supports clients as an experienced negotiator in complex national and cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures and restructurings. His many years of experience are characterized by factual and goal-oriented negotiation and project management.

He advises leading companies from Germany and abroad and has extensive experience in assisting his clients from North America, Japan and France with transactions in Germany. Christian is a long-standing key contact partner of Taylor Wessing at the World Law Group and has been active there for many years in various functions, including as President.

Advising Lifento, the French fund specializing in healthcare real estate, on ESG commitments in leases and ambitious CAPEX plans for energy efficiency. While the use of healthcare real estate focuses on the “S” in “ESG”, Lifento also continuously improves the energy efficiency of its real properties. Taylor Wessing advises Lifento since its market entry on the acquisition of its healthcare properties and regarding asset management, both in the light of Lifento’s ESG strategy.
