Our teams look after clients throughout their corporate life-cycle – from set-up, through early-stage VC funding rounds, to larger investments such as private equity and M&A, to exits through, for example, trade sales or IPOs. We have acted on buy-side and sell-side deals of all shapes and sizes, both public and private, nationally and internationally. While each deal is unique, we are confident that we have seen the key issues that arise many times before.  

Internationally we are specialists in cross-border transactions with a team covering 16 jurisdictions. As well as technical excellence, our strengths are teamwork, the way we share local knowledge and how we understand cultural differences – all key factors that influence the successful outcome of any cross-border transaction. We regularly advise on eye-catching deals – like Babylon Health's record-breaking USD550 million expansion into the US and Asia, Vivion Investments' EUR1 billion bond issuance and complex restructuring (one of the biggest deals of its kind in the property sector), Affirma Capital on its MBO of Standard Chartered's private equity business, or Inflexion on its backing of the management buyout of Dutch IT outsourcing training business Calco Group BV. In each and every case we work to know our client's business, so we can anticipate the potential challenges before they become issues, de-risking deals and delivering the best outcome for our client.
