Claudia is one of the founding partners of Taylor Wessing in France more than 20 years ago.
Former PwC partner (Landwell) in charge of the Employment Law practice (50 lawyers specialized in Employment Law, social security and immigration), she has built up the Employment law practice for TW in France since 2003.
Claudia notably handles complex restructurings (M&A Employment related consequences, sales, carve outs, close downs and all sorts of transfer of undertakings) in amicable and litigious contexts, including judicial liquidations.
She is used to lead negotiations with international consultative bodies as well as French employees representatives such as unions and works councils. She handels relationships with external experts (i.e. chartered accountants in restructurings) and government bodies, optimizing chances for avoiding/ limiting costly strikes and/or litigation.
Her team acts as « project managers « to secure the clients’ General Management as well as international and local HR teams with regards to motivation, timing, cost and risks of the contemplated restructurings.
Moreover, the team anticipates restructuring related consequences on the collective status of employees, employee representatives and-if the case may be - integration related HR consequences.
PhD in international private law and business law Claudia is of German origin, trilingual and qualified in France, specialized in French and International employment law, member of the Paris bar.
