Daniel is a member of the Restructuring & Insolvency Law Practice Area. He advises on German and international insolvency law, restructurings and corporate law-related matters.
Daniel Kunz helps companies in financial distress and supports insolvency administrators, shareholders and board members as well as creditors and investors in the context of corporate restructuring and insolvency. One focus of his work is enforcing and defending against liability and claw-back claims.
In addition, Daniel Kunz advises sellers and buyers in distressed M&A transactions and represents the interests of creditors in insolvency proceedings as a member of creditors‘ committees.
Daniel Kunz regularly comments on current decisions of the Federal Court of Justice in the area of insolvency law and he is co-author of the handbook "Das neue Restrukturierungsrecht - Unternehmensrestrukturierung durch StaRUG und Eigenverwaltung" (The New Restructuring Law - Corporate Restructuring by means of StaRUG and Self-Administration) published by Nomos in 2021.
