Thanos has worked as a lawyer for Taylor Wessing since 2011 and specialises in advising on IT law and media law. He has an excellent track record in dealing with the legal aspects of copyright, competition, publishing, youth protection law, as well as on IT contract law. His special focus is on issues of data protection legislation. He advises especially with a focus on health tech companies in the life sciences and healthcare sector.

As a result of his previous activities and various secondments in different industries, Thanos has in-depth knowledge of the processes and needs of international companies. In his consultancy at Taylor Wessing, Thanos provides project-oriented hands-on counseling for Start-ups as well as for medium-sized businesses in national and international matters. Since 2015 Thanos is lecturer at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Technik (University of Applied Sciences) Berlin. He publishes regularly on a number of technology-oriented topics and regularly lectures on matters of the healthcare sector.

Thanos is Co-head of the international practice group Commercial Technology & Data and a specialist lawyer for information technology law, as well as a certified Data Protection Officer (TÜV).
