Jo is a partner, leading our technology, IP and information team in Ireland. Jo is a specialist in emerging digital regulation and information rights. with a focus on AI and privacy governance work. Jo co-leads the UK and Ireland cyber security practice and has extensive experience of managing cybersecurity breaches and data and confidential information-focused litigation.
Jo has spent more than a decade of her legal career advising on contentious and non-contentious data and IP matters and she works with clients of all sectors and sizes to develop data privacy and AI strategies. Much of Jo's work involves explaining complex privacy and other legal issues to groups of all ability levels; and in addition to running popular privacy training courses Jo is a leading proponent of our innovative legal design programme, tackling legal problems of all sorts with user focused design-thinking.
Jo heads a team in Dublin advising on a broad range of topics from B2B and B2C commercial projects and product launches, to IP, IT, data and regulatory support for organisations of all sizes and sectors, with a particular focus on tech, communications and e-commerce clients.
Jo has been listed as Notable Practitioner by Managing Intellectual Property – IP Stars 2024 and was one of Global Data Review's Top 40 Under 40 in 2018.
