Maraike primarily advises medium-sized companies - often family businesses - and wealthy private individuals on commercial and corporate law, especially on questions of corporate succession. Her practice is particularly focused on the structuring of corporate succession during lifetime as well as the review and drafting of articles of association and family governance.
In addition, she has many years of experience in corporate law (re)structuring of private and non-operational assets. Thanks to her extensive knowledge of contract drafting and intuition as well as taking into account the individual framework conditions, Maraike guides her clients during these processes and develops tailor-made solutions. A further focus of her work is the leading advice on complex national and international restructurings and M&A transactions. Maraike always works in close cooperation with different legal areas in order to provide comprehensive advice.
