Martin Eckel, LL.M.

Associé

Martin's clients praise his practical, hands-on approach and universal knowledge of Austrian and EU competition law. He heads our Competition, EU & Trade, Compliance and Insurance groups in CEE. Martin is a recognised and experienced leader in antitrust investigations, penalty procedures and settlements, abuse of dominance and contractual competition restraints and also well known for the handling of multinational, cross-border merger filings throughout CEE.

His experience means he can expertly analyse your competition issues, defend you against penalty proceedings before the Courts, and even work with you to build robust and tailor-made competition compliance programmes. His reputation as a recognised specialist has led to his appointment as an auditor for the Austrian Standards institute.
