Olaf is head of the German and international practice group Trademarks, Advertising & Design. The triple award “European Trade Mark Firm of the Year” (2016, 2019 and 2023) for Taylor Wessing under his leadership illustrates his expertise. The protection of trademarks is Olaf's mission: in strategic advice as well as in litigation.
He handles worldwide disputes and supervises trademarks and new product launches - including the related issues of design, copyright and unfair competition law. In addition to his legal advice, Olaf is also intensively involved with the International Trademark Association (INTA), for example as co-founder of the Adjunct Professors Group and as a speaker. For 17 years, Olaf has been a lecturer at the University of Witten Herdecke, passing on his knowledge to students.
