Fashion & luxury

Owners of high-profile fashion and luxury brands need to tackle problems such as counterfeit goods and copycat products, how best to embrace the internet and social media to interact with consumers, and business expansion whether through investment, new retail ventures or into new territories.

Our knowledge and hands-on experience of handling these issues which frequently face fashion and luxury brands (both new and long-established) means that we can pre-empt many of the typical problems which arise or find quick and effective solutions to existing ones. Brand value is key in this sector and Taylor Wessing has a market leading intellectual property practice. With our strength in technology we are well placed to advise on digital and technology developments to keep your business one step ahead. We also have extensive experience advising on other areas including employment, commercial agreements and moving and developing your premises.

As part of our commitment to the sector, we have teamed up with the British Fashion Council. As part of the BFC's Fashion Trust, we provide legal mentoring to up and coming designers.

The team spans our international offices, which means that we are well placed to advise both home-grown and global businesses, including those entering into new markets around the world.
