The Clean Energy Legal Advisers Report, published annually by the analysis platform Clean Energy Pipeline, assesses the activities of law firms based on their involvement in project financing and M&A transactions in the renewable energy market. The analysis takes into account both the number of transactions and the disclosed deal volume. This industry dossier is based on the Clean Energy League Tables, which document the activities of law firms in the global clean energy sector on a calendar-year basis. The metric used is the number of qualifying transactions in the following sub-sectors: biofuels, biomass, clean coal, energy efficiency, environmental services and remediation, geothermal energy, clean transport, hydropower, marine environment, recycling and waste, solar energy, sustainable agriculture, water and wastewater treatment, and wind.
The Influence Factor (IF) reflects the actual market impact and significance of consultancy firms and law firms in the global renewable energy sector via a weighted index value that takes into account the total number of deals concluded and the total financial volume.
