Christian advises clients on both contentious and non-contentious issues of trade mark and unfair competition law.
A particular focus of his practice involves coordinating complex disputes, often related to unconventional marks (e.g. for the shape and colour of goods) and questions of consumer perception across different countries. He is also responsible for the trade mark portfolios of several renowned companies and frequently acts in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the GPTO and the German Federal Patent Court as well as the EUIPO, the Boards of Appeal and the European Courts.
Christian regularly deals with IP rights in connection with Web3, Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), Blockchain Technology and the Metaverse. He is part of the editorial team of the TW Metaverse Newsletter.
