Thomas has been advising trademark owners for decades on the development of trademark strategies, the prosecution of infringements and on licensing matters. In this context, he devises and implements strategies and programmes for the long-term protection of trademark rights.
A number of court proceedings in which Thomas has been actively involved have led to ground-breaking decisions in the field of European trademark law, such as the CJEU decisions “Diesel”, “Flugbörse” or “NAI”.
