Victoria is a partner in our Real Estate team. She advises clients on a variety of commercial property and corporate real estate matters, including investment sales, purchases and leases, structured acquisitions and disposals and financing transactions. Victoria frequently advises overseas clients from across Europe, the US and the Middle East on complex, cross-border deals, working closely with our international colleagues.

Victoria has particular expertise in the Hotels and Leisure and Logistics sectors, having advised on large scale hotel and industrial portfolio acquisitions and disposals, the acquisition of hotel trophy assets, restructures, and sale and leaseback transactions.

Advising Invesco Real Estate on major international partnership with Westmont

We have advised Invesco Real Estate (Invesco), the global real estate investment manager, on its new strategic long-term partnership with Westmont, one of the largest private hotel property owners and operators with approximately 400 hotels in Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. Westmont will operate and co-invest in the portfolio of 13 IHG branded hotels located in key cities in Germany and the Netherlands.

We advised Invesco Real Estate on its EUR313 million acquisition of 3 Lisbon hotels and subsequent operating lease to NH Hotels -the largest ever hotel real estate transaction in Portugal.

Accor on investment into AGO Hotels

We have advised Accor on their investment into the innovative AGO Hotels platform, including branding arrangements. AGO has secured an initial nine hotels from the Travelodge CVA which will be branded as Ibis budget hotels with the platform open for further hotels to join into 2021. As well as participating in this innovative vehicle alongside AGO management and the landlords, Accor has also committed seed funding to assist with the platform launch and to provide working capital.
