Martin Dowdall

Martin is a financial services regulatory specialist advising clients on advisory matters, commercial contracts and transactions. Martin has particular expertise in the use of new technologies in financial services including in relation to payments, cryptoassets and the use of AI.

Martin advises a wide range of clients on UK and EU financial services regulation. His clients include banks, asset managers, payment service providers, the operators of financial market infrastructure, and fintech firms. Martin regularly advises e-commerce, social media and technology companies on their financial services offerings.

Martin advises on financial services, financial crime (including AML/KYC requirement), consumer protection and e-commerce regulation.

Martin completed a secondment at leading fintech, Alipay spending time in their London and Hong Kong offices.
