The Lawyer's Hot 100 2024

"A Taylor Wessing lifer, Katie Chandler was one of the first female associates to become a partner while on maternity leave. She hit the ground running upon making partnership, creating the firm’s UK product liability and safety practice in 2018. Product liability is a tough market to break into but Chandler’s leadership has been instrumental in quickly raising the defence team’s profile and cementing it as one of the handful of key product liability players in the UK market."

Product Liability Defence

Product liability (mainly defendant) - Band 3: “She is an excellent lawyer with a great overview of all things product liability” and “Katie knows the legal circumstances and understands client needs”.

Katie Chandler leads Taylor Wessing's disputes and investigations practice. Her product liability work covers a range of sectors including technology, medical devices and consumer goods. She frequently oversees large-scale cross-border litigation and product recall matters.
