Helen is a senior associate in the Disputes & Investigations team. Helen has a broad commercial disputes practice, advising on high-value and complex commercial litigation, including in relation to contractual disputes, IT project/tech disputes, director disqualification proceedings and fraud. Helen acts for both claimants and defendant, including corporate entities and financial institutions.

Helen has experience with both internal and regulatory investigations (including those involving the FCA, FRC and Official Receiver) and with different forms of alternative dispute resolution. She is also a member of the team's Fraud, Crime and Investigations group.

Helen gained broad commercial experience on secondments to a global investment bank and a global technology company.

GTI Corporation's sale to Kanwal

The sellers of GTI Corporation Limited, a manufacturer and designer of specialist systems and tools to the automotive industry (with a particular focus on high-performance and luxury cars) on its sale to Kanwal UK Holdings. The transaction represented the culmination of years' of strategic collaboration between GTI and Taylor Wessing and was entered into in connection with the settlement of litigation proceedings between GTI and a major automotive manufacturer.

During an LSLA lecture on transparency and open justice, Mrs Justice Cockerill, recently appointed as Deputy Head of Civil Justice, outlined a pilot practice direction (PD) that will place select court documents squarely in the public domain via a new, public-facing side of the electronic court file (CE-File).
