France is dual-qualified as a Solicitor and French Avocat a la cour. She is also a qualified French Trade Mark Attorney.
France practised contentious and non-contentious IP law for nine years in Paris before moving to the UK in 2003. She advises high-profile international companies on how to protect and exploit their IP rights, particularly using trade marks and designs. Clients describe her as an excellent strategic advisor. France specialises in managing large international trade mark portfolios for clients. She gives clients a full assessment of their trade mark needs, and will advise on how to protect new brands. She is also experienced in the prosecution of trade mark registrations. France works with clients from a wide range of sectors, but in particular: transport, telecoms, food and beverage, retail, and consumer products.
France is also a visiting lecturer in IP law at the University of Montpellier.
