Edward is a Senior Counsel in the Disputes & Investigations team in London specialising in litigation across a number of key sectors including life sciences and technology. Edward co-leads the UK cyber response team assisting businesses impacted by ransomware and other data breach incidents, including regulatory investigations and follow on litigation.
Edward represents UK and international businesses on the full gamut of commercial disputes, with a particular focus on product liability, supply chain, and insurance disputes. Edward's focus on product liability means he regularly acts for manufacturers and importers on complex, high value and multiparty claims, including during inquests. He also regularly advises companies in relation boardroom and shareholder disputes arising in the context of corporate fundraising activities.
As a member of the Private Wealth Group, Edward is regularly instructed on contentious matters arising out of the ownership of trophy assets by HNWs and trusts – notably classic cars, private jets and luxury yachts. As part of Edward’s practice, he regularly advises clients in relation to insurance coverage disputes, both as part of wider instructions and standalone actions against insurers.
