Ones to Watch: Intellectual Property Law (IP Law)
Katharina is a member of the Patents Technology & Life Sciences Practice Area. She advises national and international companies on patent-related disputes, employee invention law matters, as well as issues arising in connection with the development and market launch of innovative products (freedom-to-operate).
One focus of her practice is patent infringement litigation. In addition, she has extensive experience in patent opposition and nullity proceedings as well as in the drafting and negotiation of employee invention agreements, licence agreements, development agreements and cooperation agreements.
Katharina particularly advises companies from technology-driven industries, including mechanical engineering, electronics and the automotive supplier sector. Her work is characterised by the combination of legal expertise with a strong understanding of technical, commercial and organisational matters. She especially supports clients in international patent disputes and proceedings before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
