Taylor Wessing advises Goodix on the acquisition of Dream Chip Technologies

Shenzhen Goodix Technology Co. Ltd. (Goodix), an integrated solution provider offering industry leading software and hardware semiconductor solutions and manufacturer of chips for smart devices, IoT applications and automotive electronics, has acquired Dream Chip Technologies GmbH (DCT) and Dream Chip Technologies B.V. (DCT Group).

The international law firm Taylor Wessing provided comprehensive legal advice on the transaction to Goodix which is listed on the Shanghai stock exchange with a team led by Frankfurt based M&A Partner Stephan Doom. The acquisition of DCT is a key step for Goodix in constructing diversified strategies and integrating global engineering talent. With this transaction the joint capabilities will be strengthened to deliver integrated solutions for intelligent mobile devices and state of the art applications for the automotive industry while serving a globally increasing customer base and demand.
