Taylor Wessing, under the lead of Munich based partner Dr Philip Cavaillès, has advised Boston based PE-fund Union Park Capital and Exaktera Group on the add-on acquisition of autoVimation GmbH.
autoVimation GmbH has specialized in high-performance enclosures and mounting solutions for industrial cameras, lighting, and related vision system components. Headquartered in Rheinstetten, Germany, autoVimation GmbH is globally recognized for its rugged, precisely engineered protective enclosures and specialized accessories that enable the deployment of vision systems in virtually any demanding environments. autoVimation’s engineered products are widely used across diverse industries including factory automation, machine vision, electronics, food & beverage, logistics, life sciences and semiconductors.
By the acquisition, Union Park Capital adds autoVimation GmbH as fifth operating asset alongside Z-LASER, ProPhotonix, Advanced Illumination, and iiM to the Exaktera Group in order to further strengthen Exaktera Group’s position as a global leader dedicated to machine vision and photonic technologies.
