Kai Kim (né Schlender), M.A.

Kai is a Salary Partner in the firm’s China group and a member of the firm's Corporate / Mergers & Acquisitions practice group. He advises on a broad scope of corporate and commercial law matters, ranging from the incorporation and operation of companies to cross-border M&A transactions.

His practice has a particular focus on China-related projects, such as M&A transactions of Chinese investors abroad and foreign investors in China, as well as joint ventures involving Chinese parties. Prior to joining Taylor Wessing, he worked in the Corporate / Mergers & Acquisitions practice group of a leading international law firm in their Berlin, Frankfurt and Shanghai offices. Kai is a visiting lecturer at Humboldt University of Berlin, where he regularly teaches Chinese law and economics.
