Taylor Wessing advised Delfingen Industry S.A, Anteuil (France), on the acquisition of Langendorf Textil GmbH & Co. KG, Marktrodach (Germany), and its subsidiary MBG Techbelt Innovation, Münchberg (Germany). The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
With the acquisition of the two companies with a combined turnover of EUR 19 million, Delfingen carries on its globalisation strategy while strengthening its presence towards German carmakers and automotive suppliers, and while enriching its technical textile products range.
Delfingen (NYSE Alternext: ALDEL) is a leading global manufacturer of insulation protection, wiring harnesses and hoses protection solutions and also having expertise in the fluid transfer and the assembly technologies. The Group workforce reaches 1,600 people in 18 countries and 26 plants. Sales revenue amounted to EUR 122 million in 2012.
Langendorf is a worldwide renowned expert in the engineering and manufacturing of technical textile sleeving. Its solutions of textile protection are used in the automotive, transport, industrial and environment markets.
MBG is specialized in the fast weaving process and the coating. Its production is mainly made of tapes, belts, technical straps for the automotive market, cargo handling and personal protection equipment.
