Remote Working & Workation

Summer is just around the corner. What could be more natural for employees than to extend their long-awaited annual holiday abroad by a few pleasant days in a picturesque setting? ‘Workation’ is the order of the day. The prospect of ending a long working day in a relaxed atmosphere on the beach seems too tempting. The idea of reconciling professional life with family life abroad is too appealing. However, employers would be well advised to carefully examine the requests they receive for work abroad – there are a number of risks involved.
