Taylor Wessing, led by Munich partner Peter Hellich, has advised FTAPI Software GmbH on a growth financing round by Digital+ Partners. Digital+ Partners' investment of €15 million may be increased by a further €6 million in a second tranche and will serve to strengthen the company's dynamic growth.
FTAPI specialises in process automation and encryption of data packages, such as corporate invoices and payrolls and patient data, and their secure transmission within and between companies, government agencies, hospitals, laboratories and other healthcare providers. The core product FTAPI SecuTransfer is based on FTAPI's proprietary security technology and stands for simple and secure data exchange, complemented by data rooms, secure forms and processes. Almost 1200 companies, public authorities and medical institutions already use the software offered by FTAPI. Among them are well-known customers such as ADAC, Eberspächer, the German Medical Association, the Austrian Red Cross and Samsung SDI.
