Environment, Health and Safety

Introduction to Environment and Health and Safety policies

At Taylor Wessing, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards in health and safety, environmental responsibility, and energy management. We understand that our business operations have significant impacts in these areas and strive to manage them proactively and effectively.

  • Health and Safety: Ensuring the well-being of our employees is paramount. Our Health and Safety policy is designed to create a safe working environment through rigorous standards and continuous improvement, going beyond compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Environment: We recognise the impact our activities can have on the environment and seek to reduce and mitigate them through sustainable practices and collaboration with stakeholders. We are aiming for Net Zero and are committed to setting a science based target. We were one of the first law firms to attain ISO14001 accreditation for our environment management system.
  • Energy: Our Energy Policy focuses on reducing consumption and promoting best practices across all levels of our organisation. We have implemented an Energy Management System, and are ISO50001 certified.

Additionally, as active members of the Legal Charter 1.5, Legal Sustainability Alliance, Sustainable Markets Initiative and Net Zero Lawyers Alliance we work alongside other legal sector professionals to influence positive change in climate action.
