Taylor Wessing, led by Munich-based partner Dr Philip Cavaillès, assisted Danish podcasting and audiobook subscription service Podimo, Europe’s leading podcast platform, on all German related aspects of the acquisition of Hamburg based production company arc.studio. The acquisition is part of the company’s strategy to scale content development and monetisation across subscription and advertising. With the acquisition, Podimo wants to expand its international content business. The media already includes Tonny Media and Dag en Nacht in the Netherlands and Podads in Denmark.
