Matthew Jones

Matthew advises on all aspects of construction legal matters, particularly procurement, drafting and negotiation of building and engineering contracts, consultancy appointments and related agreements. That work extends to offtake agreements and PPA’s in the energy sector. His work and experience includes dealing with contentious matters from risk management to formal dispute resolution.

Matthew’s sector expertise is broad across real estate including offices, living, hotels, logistics, real estate finance, life sciences and tech. Matthew is also active in data centres and energy projects, particularly in hydrogen, solar and waste-to-energy, as well as carbon capture and other efficient technologies for net-zero aspirational businesses.

Matthew's clients and work are global, with projects in the UK and in other jurisdictions including Australia, Italy, Spain, Portugal, The Netherlands, Norway, Ireland, Romania, Barbados, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ghana, Turkey, Albania, China, Russia, Libya, Sierra Leone and Nigeria.
