Jessie is a senior associate in the Disputes and Investigations group. Jessie has a broad commercial disputes practice with experience of working on large-scale commercial litigation, arbitration and investigations.
Jessie has advised on professional negligence actions (including claims and investigations in the accountancy profession), shareholder disputes, financial services disputes, corporate and commercial disputes (including high-value contractual disputes) and cyber security/IT disputes. Jessie has a sector specialism in professional services and life sciences, the latter of which started with her previous career in healthcare communications.
Acted for Deloitte in relation to legal and regulatory issues arising from the GBP5 billion restatement of Autonomy’s financial statements in 2012 following the acquisition of Autonomy by Hewlett Packard.
Acting for a major financial institution in relation to alleged breach of confidentiality in relation to the client's proposed sale of its interest in a significant European infrastructure asset, under LCIA rules
Advising an individual in respect of an FCA investigation into allegations of a potential criminal offence, misconduct and a lack of fitness and proprietary
Investigating and advising on data breaches concerning UK users and preparing ICO notification
Acting for top 10 accountancy firm in its defence of a claim for negligent tax advice in relation to the claimant's entry into a film finance scheme.
Acting for a life sciences client in defence of claims of repudiatory breach of a corporate advisory agreement for termination for material breach, under LCIA rules.
