Tobias is a member of the Corporate / Capital Markets Practice Area in the Frankfurt office of Taylor Wessing. He is specialised in advising in particular listed companies on all areas of corporate and capital markets law as well as M&A transactions, public takeovers, capital measures and initial public offerings.
Led by Frankfurt partners Dr Lars-Gerrit Lüßmann and Ulrich Reers, Formycon AG carried out a capital increase of 910,000 new shares (corresponding to approximately 6% of the company's share capital) by means of an accelerated bookbuilding process and raised gross proceeds of approximately €70 million.
Under the leadership of the Frankfurt-based Taylor-Wessing partners Lars-Gerrit Lüßmann and Michael Sinhart, Formycon AG and ATHOS KG are merging their development activities in the field of so-called biosimilars, the follow-up products of biological medicines (biologics), in a long-term strategic partnership. The centrepiece of this agreement is Formycon AG’s participation in the rights of two biosimilars. The volume of the legally complex transaction (aggregate counter-performance) adds up to approximately 650 million euros.
