International law firm Taylor Wessing, led by Munich partner Dr Philip Cavaillès, has advised Topp Holdings GmbH on the sale of German RUNTIME Group to French listed Synergie Group. RUNTIME Group consist of Runtime Group GmbH, Runtime GmbH, Runtime Personal GmbH, DG timework GmbH and Unistaff GmbH and the group is active in the field of temporary employment / industrial staffing. The transaction is subject to the approval of the German competition authorities.
Founded in 1985, RUNTIME has developed innovative sourcing to meet the needs of a diversified and long-established client base made up of both large accounts and SMEs. The company is expected to generate a turnover of around € 80 million this year with a network of 31 branches, mainly in the northern and central regions of Germany.
Topp Holdings GmbH is a family-run, independent holding company focused on the service sector with more than 6,000 employees in seven countries. It manages, networks and strategically shapes the business activities of the independently operating subsidiaries.
Synergie is a French listed international group providing companies and institutions with global human resources management and development services: recruitment, temporary employment, training and consultancy. Ranked fifth among the industry leaders in Europe, Synergie has more than 5,000 employees throughout France and in 17 countries abroad. The Group supports companies and candidates with employment-related matters on a daily basis.
