Taylor Wessing has played a pivotal role in the recent Arcadia Group restructuring, acting for Lady Cristina Green, the ultimate majority shareholder of the group that includes Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge and Dorothy Perkins. On 12 June seven Company Voluntary Arrangements were approved by creditors which allows the business to implement a restructuring that will see thousands of jobs saved.
The multidisciplinary Taylor Wessing team was led by partner Nick Moser (Restructuring), and included Stephen O'Grady (Restructuring), Mark Smith and Hadassah Shulman (Pensions), Lerika Joubert, Gareth McCarter and Kate Bowden (Banking and Finance), Mark Bennett and James Oliver (Real Estate), and James Goold and Jonny Bethell (Corporate).
Commenting on the outcome, partner and UK head of Restructuring and Insolvency, Nick Moser said: "We were very pleased to advise Lady Green and work alongside other stakeholders to achieve a positive outcome."
