Joe is a senior counsel in the Employment, Pensions & Mobility group. He acts for a wide range of businesses and some individuals, advising on all aspects of UK employment law, including advisory and transactional work as well as contentious matters. Joe regularly advises companies based internationally on their entry into the UK employment market, with a particular focus on US-headquartered technology and consumer goods companies. He also has a specialist interest in atypical working arrangements, including the law relating to the use of agency workers, contractor and IR35 issues, and the gig economy, which he's regularly called upon to provide his expert insight in the media.
