Kris is a lawyer in Berlin who advises national and international clients in all matters of public commercial law. His particular focus is on environmental law as well as public construction and planning law. His legal practice is particularly characterized by advice on the development of new facilities, the creation of building law as well as on large-volume transactions, especially in the real estate and infrastructure sector as well as in the field of renewable energies. This applies in particular to all legal issues with regard to the planning and construction, but also the acquisition or sale of solar plants and wind farms.
Furthermore, Kris assists clients in construction and planning law, inter alia, in building permit and zoning procedures as well as all legal aspects related to construction projects - including representation vis-à-vis authorities.
In addition to his legal practice, Kris is also active as an academic. In his doctoral thesis, he dealt with the "Possibilities and limits of urban planning law for rent control using the example of Berlin" - in particular also the Berlin rent cap. This is followed by further scientific work in urban development and planning law.
