Amar specialises in commercial real estate finance transactions representing investors, sponsors, banks, alternative lenders and loan servicers across all levels of the debt stack.
Amar regularly advises clients on structured transactions and is particularly valued for his dedicated and pragmatic approach to completing complex transactions in short timeframes.
Amar manages cross-border and multi-disciplinary teams for investment and development financings in a range of sectors including hotels, student accomodation, logistics and retail. He has particular experience of senior, mezzanine and preferred equity structures involving intercreditor arrangements and also advises on loan sales/purchases and the work-out of distressed transactions.
During his career, Amar worked on secondment at the European real estate finance team at Barclays Capital, and the asset management division at Deutsche Bank.
